What percent of Korean girls/woman actually get plastic surgery?
i've heard a lot of girls/woman in south korea do...but more common or accepted there than in america?
and anything else you want to tell me about it/your opinion of it, etc. 
I found a few things after googling this:
"- 76 percent (!) of Korean women in their 20s and 30s have undergone plastic surgery. Most of them were epicanthoplasty (i.e. the "double-eyelid surgery".) (So does this mean that 24 percent of Korean women are naturally hot? Something to think about.)
- 25 percent of Korean mothers who have daughters between the ages of 12 and 16 suggested plastic surgery to their daughter. (In the Korean's "Pantheon of Fucked-Up Statistics", this figure has to be the king -- or is it queen?-- slightly leading the figure that nearly 30 percent of South Africa is HIV-positive.)
- 27.4 percent of Korean college graduate job seekers (19 percent of men, 34.1 percent of women) thought they did not fare well in the interview because of their looks. 28.5 precent of job seekers have already undergone plastic surgery or have planned plastic surgery in order to perform better in the job market." http://askakorean.blogspot.com/2007/11/korean-women-fixer-uppers.html

Half of Korean Women Have Had Cosmetic Surgery
Eight out of 10 Korean women over the age of 18 feel they need cosmetic surgery, and one out of two has undergone cosmetic surgery at least once, a survey has found.
According to a doctoral dissertation published Tuesday by Um Hyun-shin of Kyung Hee University's Clothing and Textiles department, a survey of 810 women aged 18 and over living in Seoul and Gyeonggi revealed that 69.9 percent, or 566 of the respondents, said that they suffered stress because of their appearance." http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=179826

I take no credit for writing any of these. I just found a few writings about them on the first page of results.
I apologize to the asker that I haven't put in the effort to find a better and more creditable source but I'm not sure if there really is an accurate statistic on this because there are so many.
What I've heard from a few people in Korea is that their plastic surgery is a little cheaper than plastic surgery in America so that's why slightly more Korean women may be able to afford plastic surgery. Like most other Asian countries such as Japan, women are pressured to look better so that they can get better jobs, etc.
In Asia, women are looked down upon by men much more so than in America and because of that, they're more or less expected to "be soft-spoken and look pretty" like in the old days.
And to hoony623, I am from neither of those places, nor am I any of those ethnicity's. I have nothing anything against Korean women and their appearances. Plus, you make it sound like you're putting ALL Chinese and Taiwanese people under this stereotype. Actually, scratch that, you are!
