What's the meaning of the song contact (sung by the character, Angel) in Rent the Musical?
I saw both the movie and the broadway version. When I saw the broadway version, there was a song, Contact, which was not included in the movie. I did not get the meaning of the song at all. Then the next scene showed that Angel was dead. I was like, "What the hell just happened?"
But I love Rent anyways! 
Okay...I'm listening to the song right now... in my comprehension, I think it's telling about unintentional sex is bad [?] because Angel died in it that's why they said "It was bad for me, was it bad for you?" at the ending and ended with "It's over."
At least that's how I understand it
