2008 was a great year in concerts for me, and 2009 is looking to be also.In your opinion,which year is better?
I've been very fortunate to see some of my favorite bands live and am planning to see many more. Most bands I like are pretty old, as I'm really into older metal and classic rock (so if you like the Jonas Brothers, its unlikely you've heard of the bands I will mention). But here are the concerts I saw last year and earlier this year, and the ones I have tickets for this year:
2008-
Van Halen at Madison Square Garden
Tom Petty at the Prudential Center
The Police (their last concert ever) at the Garden
The Who at the Izod Center
Trans-Siberian Orchestra at the Izod Center
2009:
Metallica at the Prudential Center
I have tickets for...
ACDC at Giants Stadium (I have 2nd row seats)
Aerosmith at PNC Bank Arts Center
U2 at Giants Stadium
(and I hope to see Metallica again later this year)
I'm really not trying to brag, its just that music is my thing. So, which year would you consider to be the better year with the better artists? 08 or 09?
Back in the day I saw Nirvana, Soundgarden, Voi Vod, Pearl Jam and Counting Crows at a small club in NC. THOSE were the days!!!
