Now that the educational establishment has become almost entirely leftist, where's the counter-culture?
On college campuses the College Republicans are the true counter-culture, but in high school most of the kids are willing to parrot their teachers' views (pro-Obama, accepting the fiction of An Incovenient Truth as scientific fact, etc.)
Do these teens realize that they are being completely unoriginal? The true rebels of today are the ones willing to challenge their teachers when they spread leftist propaganda. You would think this would be a lot more fun for adolescents than becoming little Obamabots.

Some private religious schools and especially homeschoolers are now the vanguard along with public schoolers who stand up to the bullying. John Taylor Gotto wrote a book called "Dumbing Us Down" about the educational system in America. He was an award winning teacher who foresaw the present problem.
Concerned parents pull their kids out of public schools and stop the indoctrination.
