Getting my grandmas a trinket box and engraving it, what should i write on the top, and put what in it?
For christmas, i am getting my two grandmas a little trinket box and engraving it. What should i get engraved on the top?
I was thinking of getting something to put in them as well, but my budget is small so what do you suggest?
You could do a monogram (which, in script, is really pretty). Or, just their first names.
You could also engrave the date or your name or "Christmas 2009" on the bottom of the piece (the "base" that sits on the table).
As for inside... perhaps an inexpensive charm on a chain? You could get a sterling charm and necklace for about $20. Then it would all be a gift from you.
